LOCal governing boards

All Local Governing Boards are constituted as a committee of the Trust Board in order to provide Trustees with local knowledge and understanding of each school. Local Governing Boards (LGBs) shall have a minimum of the following governors:

  • 1 staff governor 
  • 3 parent governors 
  • The headteacher
  • 3 community governors
  • The LGBs may also co-opt governors
